Test description Three series of tests carried out, each test

lasting approximately 1 hr 40 minutes

Oscillation periods 25,15, and 7 seconds typical

Duration of tests 8 hours total

Filter Various filters applied as indicated in the tables below

Notes: Gravimeter noise in bandwidth 0 to 0.017 Hz after warming:

· without motion 0.07 mGal

· with motion 0.17 mGal

More detailed results are given in the tables below.

Inertial errors from Scorsby motion not compensated.

As the gravimeter warmed up over the 8 hours of the

tests, the RMS noise decreased from 0.18 to 0.07

mGals with a 60 second filter (static) and from 0.19

to 0.17 mGals (moving).
